Pronghorn Poaching Near Cheyenne

Cheyenne, Wyo. (AP) State officials are seeking information on a pronghorn that was shot on state land about eight miles west of Cheyenne.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department said Thursday a nursing doe was shot twice with a rifle near Otto Road Shooting Range. The doe was shot between 7 a.m. July 11 and 7 a.m. July 12.

The area is one of high recreational use with many target shooters.

Informants can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward for information leading to an arrest.
