Wyoming runners competed at the Basin Nation Indoor Invite

GILLETTE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- Campbell County high school hosted the Basin Nation Indoor Invite on Friday. For the girls, Central got 1st place, Laramie 2nd, and East was 8th. Amira Cummings from East won the 55 meter and set a new school record with a time of 7.39. Jordan Stoddard from Central won the 400 meter and the high jump. Sydney Morrell from Central won the 1600 meter. Taylor Gardner from Laramie won the 55 meter hurdles and the triple jump. Aubry Sanchez from Laramie won the Pole Vault. Kaitlyn Migneault from Central won the Shot Put.

Central boys placed 3rd, Laramie was 5th, East was 9th, and South placed 15th. Trevor Stephen from Central won the boys 800 meter. Mason Swingholm from Laramie won the boys 1600 meter. The Central Indians 4X800 boys meter relay got first place.
