Cheyenne, Wy- While cowboys player and fans didn't get the winning outcome there were some positive things we can take away from it. Jevon Biglow rushed for a career-high 56 yards. Tyler Vander Waal threw for a career-high 160 yards. Senior safety Andrew Wingard led the Wyoming defense with 12 tackles. As for kicker Cooper Rothe he hit two field goals including a career-best 51 yarder in the second half.
There were some significant differences between the two teams. Wyoming had 248 total yards 160 of those were passing and 88 were rushing. On the Tigers side they posted 601 total yards 398 of those were passing and 203 were rushing
Back to back losses might seem a little concerning but Wingard says he isn't worried about the team.
"Not worried at all I mean I remember two years ago we were I think 2-2 going into conference and we obviously had a great season then. We are going to have a good test against Woffordd next weekend and then its a new season when the conference starts."
