In the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft being the 40th pick overall, the Sacramento Kings selected Wyoming's Justin James. James becomes the 29th Cowboy taken in the NBA Draft. James ranked 19th nationally amongst all Division one players this past season and led the Mountain West conference in scoring. When James was asked what type of player he would be in the NBA, he said a versatile player. He said that he can do anything a coach asks him to do.
