University of Wyoming quarterback Sean Chambers says he's cleared to play after season-ending injury

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- University of Wyoming quarterback, Sean Chambers, announced via twitter that he was cleared to play. The tweet stated "Just got word from the Doc... finally cleared!! Thanks to God!! Season can't come soon enough... time to finish what we started."

Chambers started in the first eight games of the 2019 season where he threw for 915 yards, seven touchdowns, three interceptions, rushed for 567 yards and 10 touchdowns. He suffered an injury on his left knee during the Pokes 31-3 win over Nevada on October 26, 2019. Chambers had surgery on his knee in November.

He will enter this upcoming season as a redshirt sophomore.
