CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- Three Laramie County Community College athletes earned NJCAA All-American honors.
Sophomore, Faith Meredith, made the All-American second team for women's soccer. She scored 16 goals, and had 11 assist on the season, helping the Golden Eagles to the NJCAA National Championship tournament.
Men's soccer player, Cameron Broadhurst, was also named second team All-American. He finished the season with 13 goals, and three assist. The Golden Eagles won their first ever district championship under coach, Vince Gibson , and made their first ever appearance in the NJCAA National Championship tournament.
Volleyball player, Cassidy Nelson, earned honorable mention. She finished her season with 548 kills (4.12 kills/set) which is seventh in the nation. She was second on her team in digs, recording 404.
