South high school had two students sign their national letter of intent

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- South high school held a college signing day for two student athletes on Wednesday. Angelina Liggett signed to play basketball at Minnesota West Community and Technical College. Angelina has played varsity basketball since she was a freshmen and starts for the team this year. She was named the max preps player of the game when South played Thunder Basin in 2018. She had 12 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists and 3 steals.

Brendan Lock signed to play tennis at Dixie State. Brendan is a three time high school tennis state champion. He will be apart of the schools first ever men's tennis team. "its basically what I went through with south my freshmen year having to build up a new program and they're starting a new program division one and get a chance to build another program and see what I can do with it" said Lock.
