Sixers rally in the sixth inning to beat Parker, 3-2

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- Cheyenne Sixers 18U beat the Parker Lightning in a rematch, 3-2. The Sixers were down 2-1 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning. Sixers player, Andrew Johnson, got walked and Dominic Lopez hit a single, putting Johnson on second. Next up on the plate was first baseman, Zack Costopoulos. Johnson and Lopez stole bases, putting them on second and third. Costopoulos hit a single, and earned a double RBI as Johnson and Lopez ran home, leading to the 3-2 win for the Sixers.

"I was just thinking that we need to get a hit," Costopoulos said. "For me to get that hit that was huge for out team."

The Sixers close out the weekend against USA Prime 1 at Powers Field, at 3:00pm.
