CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- Amira Cummings signed her national letter of intent on Tuesday to run track at Concordia College in Nebraska. During her track career at East, she has been all-state for indoor pole vault and indoor 55 meter. She was named all-conference for the 100 meter and sprint medley.
Amira grew up doing gymnastics and has always been a competitor. It was her freshmen year of high school when she realized she wanted to stick with track and focus on that. She has been talking to Concordia since her freshmen year and knew that is where she wanted to go. She will be doing pole vault and sprints in college.
