Hirsig explains the new timed events format saying "so now we have a tournament style and its a little bit different in the rough stock then it is the timed events basically the timed event all of our slack this week is a qualifying round for those guys to get in the performance cause there's so many people that compete in timed events we cant run them in the performance, so they have to qualify to get into our performances and once the timed event gets into the performances they get 2 head of live stock so the first set will go our first Saturday and Sunday we pay 4 moneys each day so whoever's the fastest on Saturday, the top 4 will win money and Sunday the top 4 will win money and then out of that pool the top 4 money winners from those 2 days will automatically go to our Sunday finals"
Mathews explains the new Rough Stock format saying "the rough stock is gonna be a little bit different then the timed events the basic format is the same but there's some subtle differences that need to be explained, in the barrel racing once they get into performances the top 72 then it will be just like the rough stock and the way that's gonna work we took 72 per event were gonna buck 12 a day for the first 6 days, the top 4 times or scores from each day will then move into a semi-finals round either on Friday or Saturday-be the 7th and 8th performances, the top 6 out of each of those days will then move to the finals on Sunday."
