Lady Indians volleyball seniors helped lead the team to the state tournament this season

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- The Central Indians volleyball team hasn't been to the 4A state tournament since 2014. The Lady Indians have three seniors on the team this season that have been a big part of the volleyball program. "I think we definitely could make it this far we have super good team chemistry and I'm just so proud that we made it this far" said Senior Macy Palmer. The Lady Indians have an overall record of 17-15 this season and placed 4th at the 4A East regional tournament. "obviously we wanted to do better at regionals but just the fact that we get to go and we get to redeem ourselves at state is exciting" said Senior Ellie Fearneyhough. Central will be the number 4 seed from the east in state tournament and will play Kelly Walsh who is the number 1 seed from the west on Thursday. "yeah its a great feeling to represent central in 5 years that's a whole 4 year gap some people were freshmen and seniors and they didn't get a chance to see it so its really exciting for all of us to go share this moment with coaches and are underclassmen as well" said Senior Shelby Murrell.
