Kelly Walsh volleyball prepares for regional tournament

CASPER, Wyo. The Kelly Walsh Trojans are entering the tournament as the number one seed in the northwest and with a record of 29 and 1.

"This is the time of year that you really have to live in the present moment and not get to caught up in trying to win a championship or trying to get concerned with how you're playing. You just have to give it your best shot," said head coach Jeff Barkell.

The Trojans are in the 4a west bracket and play their first game against Jackson Hole. They played the Broncs earlier in the season and defeated them three sets to none. The Trojans have been taking this week in practice to prepare for the tournament before they leave.

"Well we've just been talking a lot about living in the present and so we are just working on this ball, we've been doing a lot of games, trying to really get into the game mindset, and working on a couple skills," said senior Isabel Lyons.
