CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- Cheyenne East hosted the Charlie Lake Invite where they were able to win the wrestling meet, scoring 188 points. Multiple high schools from multiple states participated in the invite. Day 1 (Friday) consisted of dual wrestling, while day 2 (Saturday) was formatted as a tournament. Four wrestlers from East earned first place in their weight classes.

East had other wrestlers who placed in the invite: Kane Mihalek (4th-113lbs), David Stice (4th-120lbs), Jason Hoskins (4th-145lbs), Jackson Hesford (3rd-160lbs), and Lucas Mitzel (4th-195lbs).
Cheyenne Central earned 11th place with 66 points. The Indians had four wrestlers place in the tournament with Adam Roberts earning fifth at 120lbs, Johnathan Vroman placing fifth at 145lbs, Nathan Lundberg finishing in sixth at 170lbs, and Joseph Brubeck also placing sixth at 182lbs.
Cheyenne South finished in 22nd place with 20 points. Logan Dean finished in sixth place in the 120lbs weight class for the Bison.
