CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- East high school seniors Christian Anderton and Chance Aumiller signed their national letter of intent on Thursday afternoon to continue playing football in college. Christian is going to Chadron State and Chance is going to Colorado Mesa.
Christian has participated in football, basketball, indoor and outdoor track during high school. He made all-state for football his junior and senior year. He lettered in football twice and decided his junior year that he would like to continue playing football after high school. "just because I like football a lot I didn't use to when I was younger but just watching it and watching NFL and stuff I realized footballs my favorite sport and I'm actually kind of good at it" said Anderton.
Chance has participated in football, soccer, basketball, and outdoor track during high school. He was named all-state for football his junior and senior year. He lettered in football twice and is the number one leader in receiving yards in the state of Wyoming history. "couple years its been more a passion then any other sports I've had its just more fun to play and the culture in football is way better than any other sport because everybody's apart of it" said Aumiller.
Both of these young men will be playing in the Shrine Bowl game this summer on the South team.
