Defending 4A tennis state champions, Central is looking to get back to back state titles

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- The Central boys and girls tennis team both won the state championship last year. The Indians tennis team won the 4A south regional tennis tournament. The boys finished with a team score of 63 and the girls finished with a team score of 65. Junior Emily Needham will be playing number one singles at state for the Indians.

"are team is super excited we have such good players out here with such great potential I think every single one of us has a huge shot of winning state individually and we know were gonna have some competition on the team side and individually but we all have really high spirits" said Needham.

The high school state tennis tournament will be in Gillette on Thursday, September 26 through Saturday, September 28.
