Craig Bohl announces changes in Wyoming Football coaching staff

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- Wyoming head football coach Craig Bohl announced that defensive coordinator Jake Dickert, defensive ends coach/co-special teams coordinator AJ Cooper, and cornerbacks coach John Richardson are headed to Washington State University.

Dickert served as defensive coordinator for the Pokes during the 2019 football season. He joined the coaching staff in 2017 as a safeties coach, holding that position from 2017-18.

Cooper has been a part of the coaching staff for the last six seasons where he served as Wyoming’s defensive run-game coordinator, defensive ends coach/co-special teams coordinator. Prior to Wyoming, he served as a part of the North Dakota State coaching staff for eight seasons.

Richardson served as the Cowboys cornerback coach for the past six seasons. He also coached at North Dakota State prior to Wyoming.
