Cheyenne Sixers historic six-run fourth inning not enough as they fall to USA Prime 1, 10-8

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- In their final game of the weekend, the Cheyenne Sixers fell to USA Prime 1 in a historic matchup, by the score of 10-8.

USA Prime 1 took a 6-0 lead, entering the bottom of the third inning. After getting on the board in the third inning with two runs, the Sixers would score six runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. Nico Vite and Andrew Johnson hit back to back triples, helping Cheyenne to eight unanswered runs and a 8-6 lead. However, USA Prime 1 would score four unanswered runs to win the game, 10-8.

The Sixers will host the Greeley GOJO's on Tuesday, June 9 at 12:00pm and Premier West at 5:00pm on Powers Field.
