Cheyenne East Grad Brody Cress wins 10th Go-Around of National Finals Rodeo

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Wyoming News Now)- Cheyenne East Grad, Brody Cress, won the 10th and final round of the Saddle Bronc with a 91-point performance. He won his second aggregate title in three trips. Cress entered the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) ninth in the world standings, and finished second. He covered all 10 draws, being the only saddle bronc rider to do so. Cress scored a total of 840.5 points.

“It’s been awesome to come out her,” Cress said. “Not only for a third year, but to be able to come back healthy,” Cress referring to his ankle injury the previous year.

Canadian saddle bronc rider and Cowley, WY native, Zeke Thurston tied for third in the saddle bronc with a score of 88.5. Casper native, Ty Blasingame, along with Travis Graves, tied for 11th in team roping.
