CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- Cheyenne Central High School hired Josh Bott as the new boys and girls swimming & diving coach. Prior to Central, he served as head coach for Campbell County in Gillette, Wyoming from 2011-2018.
Bott won eight state championships and coached seven All-Americans. He's a four-time winner of the Wyoming Swim Coaches Association Girls swim coach of the year (2013-2016), and named by the Wyoming Coaches Association for girls coach of the year five times (2011, 2013-2016). The Wyoming Swim Coaches Association and the Wyoming Coaches Association named Bott Boys swimming coach of the year three times (2012, 2016, 2017). He was a finalist for National High School Athletic Coaches Association Swim coach of the year in 2017.
Bott will be replacing Mark Miller who retired in 2020 after 22 years of coaching the Indians.
