Last month the Casper Horseheads were confident they would be able to start their season close to July 1 but after a statement released Wednesday night they decided to cancel their 2020 season.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation the organization believed this is what would be best during this time. They said the decision was difficult and did not come easy. Just last season they improved their win total by 12 games and also raised more then $7,000 for local charities.
They say they plan to come back even stronger in 2021.
For any season ticket holders, the Horseheads said they would be in touch very soon for options moving forward.
