LCCC rodeo athletes are headed to 4 year programs

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (RELEASE)- The Laramie County Community College rodeo team has four student-athletes who will be moving on to four-year programs. Austin Hurlburt (Norfolk, Nebraska) and Houston Brown (Miles City, Montana) will be joining former Golden Eagle coach Beau Clark at the University of Wyoming. Georgie Lage (Arthur, Nebraska) and Konnar Knotwell (Encampment, Wyoming) will heading to West Texas A&M University.

Brown finished third in the All-Around standings in the Central Rocky Mountain Region with 960 points. He finished fifth in the region standings for Saddle Bronc Riding with 470 points. Brown also finished ninth in the overall standings in the Tie-Down Roping with 295 points.

Hurlburt finished eighth overall in the Central Rocky Mountain Region standings for Tie-Down Roping with a total of 310 points on the season.

Lage finished 11th overall in the Central Rocky Mountain Region standings in the Breakaway Roping with a total of 238.3 points.
