Zonta Club of Cheyenne stops by the station to share information about their mission, 16 Days of Activism, their art contest and march.

Zonta International is an organization with the mission of advancing the status of women and girls through service and advocacy. Zonta Club of Cheyenne was established in 1956 and has around 40 members. The club has been working to stop human trafficking.

Upcoming events in Cheyenne include:

--- Art Contest: submit to Flydragon Art Studio by December 28. Judging and reception is on January 8, 2020.

--- Zonta Night Out at Little America on March 6, 2020

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is one of the club projects and is also used by over 6000 organizations in 187 countries. November 25 is the International Day Against Violence Against Women. December 10 is International Human Rights Day.

There will be a march from the capitol building to Laramie County Library on Nov 25 at 10 am. Mayor Orr will sign a proclamation after the march on November 25 in the Willow Room at the library.
