Wyoming State Museum to host first ever 'Shop Small Saturday Holiday Marketplace' to support small Cheyenne businesses

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- The Wyoming State Museum store is hosting its first ever 'Shop Small Saturday Holiday Marketplace.' A total of 15 Wyoming artists, artisans, authors, who will show off their work for people to buy. There will also be 10 food tasting vendors at the event. Members of the store decided to use this event as a platform to support small businesses in Cheyenne.

"We would rather sell merchandise that's made right here in Wyoming then elsewhere and this is one of our ways to kick that off is to invite several of the local artist and artisans and food vendors to come and share what they have," store manager Melissa Neylon said.

The event is tomorrow, November 30, from 9:00am-4:30pm. Proceeds will go towards the museum.
