A fugitive who escaped from the Wyoming Department of Corrections nearly 10 years ago was located in Krebs, Oklahoma., and arrested by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Ashli Faler was convicted of Forgery and sentenced to one-and-a-half to three years.

She escaped from a facility in Casper Wyoming 11 months into her sentence.

The OSBI was informed that the 32-year-old Faler might be in the McAlester area.

She was located by law enforcement at a residence in Krebs on August 1 and taken into custody.

Faler is currently being held in the Pittsburg County Jail awaiting extradition to Wyoming.
