Wyoming Department of Education opens essay contest for National Women's Suffrage Day

CHEYENNE, Wyoming (Release) The Superintendent of Public Instruction Jillian Balow opens an essay contest to Wyoming's young females.

The contest is now open through October 31 to 7-12th grade young women.

Supt. Balow wants to know what the future holds for Wyoming through the minds of the middle to high schoolers.

The essay topic question is, "How will you be part of Wyoming's History?"

Essays will be evaluated by the Wyoming Department Education.

The winner will be announced November 10, and be given a month to practice their public speaking

One winner will be invited to Cheyenne on December 10 to read their essay or speak at the Capitol on National Women's Suffrage Day
