Winter is definitely making a crash landing with a little snow and frigid temperatures. Snow becomes widespread Thursday morning between 6am-8am, covering almost the entire viewing area. The bull’s-eye of the storm is trending to the north of Cheyenne. With that being said, trouble spots are pointing to northern Laramie County, Goshen, Platte, and Scotts Bluff counties could see up to 4 inches by Thursday evening.

Winter weather advisories expire Thursday at 4 pm. Biggest impacts with this clipper will be dangerous wind chills and blowing snow at times. Don’t forget to layer up and give yourself extra time.

Snow exits the viewing area near the afternoon and evening hours. In fact, skies clear Thursday evening. Friday temperatures rebound into the 30’s with sunshine.

Storm Tracker 5 is watching another snow maker for Saturday morning.
