CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) The search for Casper teen Joseph Peterson entered its fourth day Wednesday as efforts focused on fresh K-9 teams and a number of advanced drones.
Mounted search and rescue personnel, including Natrona County Sheriff’s deputies and technicians, searched the terrain for any sign of the 16 year old.
As the search continues, deputies will determine where to look based on the most recent information, what areas have been searched or maybe need to be searched again, the area's conditions, resources available and potential travel direction.
NCSO Investigator Taylor Courtney said in an email statement that this remains a search and rescue operation and there has been no talk of suspending efforts.
Organizations known to be involved in the search include the Casper Fire Department, Natrona County Search and Rescue, Natrona County Emergency Management, Natrona County Sheriff’s Office, Bureau of Land Management, the FBI, Casper Police and Wyoming Game and Fish.
