Cheyenne police are continuing their investigation and confirm 21-year-old homicide victim Victoria Juarez of Cheyenne suffered multiple traumas including suffocation and blunt force trauma.

Family members confirm Juarez was the mother of a young boy and that the suspect who police believe was responsible for her death was an ex-boyfriend and the father of her child.

The Cheyenne Police Department says an autopsy was performed Tuesday morning but were only able to share limited information during this active investigation.

Police responded to Anong's Thai Cuisine at 620 Central Avenue around 11:45 a.m. Monday morning. They say her body was found in the basement of the restaurant.

Officials in the investigation say no firearms were involved and that they are currently searching for the suspect. His name is Emigdio Lara of Cheyenne. He is originally from Mexico but is now a U.S. citizen.

He is described as having blue eyes, brown hair, 5'10'' and 200 lbs. Police say not to approach him but to instead call police immediately.
