UW students can get discounted tickets to Ron White

LARAMIE, Wyo - The University of Wyoming’s 7220 Entertainment will offer discounted tickets to comedian Ron White’s show Saturday, Aug. 4, at 8 p.m. at the Cheyenne Civic Center.

UW student tickets go on sale Monday, July 16, for $10 per ticket. Students must present valid WyoOne IDs at the Wyoming Union information desk. Tickets may be purchased Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

If tickets are still available, they will open up to UW faculty and staff members Monday, July 23, for $20 per ticket and to the public Monday, July 30, for $30 per ticket. UW faculty and staff members must present valid WyoOne IDs to purchase tickets.

There is a limit of four tickets per person. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the show.

White is best known as the cigar-smoking, scotch-drinking funnyman from the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy. He is a certified platinum-selling artist and a three-time Grammy-nominated comedian. All four of his comedy albums have reached No. 1 on the Billboard comedy chart.

Additionally, White participates in his comedy benefit, “Ron White’s Comedy Salute to the Troops,” with proceeds going to the Armed Forces Foundation to assist injured troops and their families.
