Thomas Cobb selected new City Engineer

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now)- The city of Cheyenne held a swearing-in ceremony for Thomas Cobb, whom was selected as City Engineer.

“I'm really excited about this opportunity and I think it's good for me and the city," Cobb said.

He graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering. Cobb has worked in both private and public sector perspective, for nearly 29 years.

"We really have to look at this day by day and try to plan as much as we can in the future.”

Prior to the selection, Cobb served as the Senior Engineer and Planner for the Cheyenne Metropolitan Planning Organization.
