The Science Zone’s doors are closed, but the Idea Lab is up and running for the summer. Darcie Gudger, an educator, said their main focus is on bird-watching and lots of other outdoor activities.

Gudger added they are also doing geocaching studies and studying NASA”s history.

Gudger hopes to get more kids signed up for these camps and away from their screens at home.

“It’s packed full of fun and exciting stuff and we are just exploding so we have room for more kids and it’s free,” Gudger said.

She added they are doing some virtual learning in the morning.
