The City of Cheyenne is working to reduce graffiti

Cheyenne, Wyo. (KGWN) - One ordinance which moved forward on second reading in Cheyenne City Council involves having the DDA take a leadership role in working with the police department regarding graffiti.

Under certain situations, this would allow for the graffiti to be removed from downtown Cheyenne buildings.

Another item on the agenda involves the ongoing discussion around turning the Carey Building into the Municipal Court House. City Council members will be talking more about what to do with the second-floor construction.

Now, City Council is debating whether to spend money out of reserves to shell the second floor or to finish it.
