Suspect in a high-speed pursuit behind bars

Robert Yestic was arrested in Cheyenne after police say he led them on a high-speed chase.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) City, County and State law enforcement all took part in a high speed chase in Cheyenne.

Around 9 P.M. Tuesday, Cheyenne Police attempted to make a stop at Central and Walker. That’s when police said the suspect fled on I-25 at speeds over 100 miles per hour. Law enforcement in pursuit lost contact with the suspect vehicle in the North Star area.

The suspect remained at large over night, before a resident called Sheriff's deputies this morning about suspicious person. The man knocked on a door claiming his car broke down.

Robert Yestic was arrested on a warrant out of Weld County, Colorado.

Cheyenne Police confirmed Yestic is the suspect they’d pursued Tuesday night.
