DENVER (AP) — A snow storm has brought up to around a foot of snow to northern Colorado and shut down and delayed the openings of some schools.

The National Weather Service said 11 inches was reported near Boulder on Tuesday but the accumulations were lighter around Denver and Colorado Springs.

The storm brought snow to Wyoming and Utah Monday. In Wyoming, Casper got just over a foot of snow. That temporarily shut down Casper/Natrona County International Airport for the first time in at least a dozen years. I-80 is still closed across southern Wyoming, from Rock Springs to Laramie.
