The Laramie County Fair begins July 30th at Archer and ends August 2nd at the complex.

The fair will move on August 4 to Frontier park and run until the 11th.

The last day to enter the fair is June 30th.

On August 9 the fair is hosting Laramie County Best Pie Contest. The contest is open to all Laramie County residents. There are two categories Juniors 10-17 and Seniors 18 and older.

You are asked to bring 2 of the same pie, one will be judged and the other auctioned off. You can enter as many pies as you'd like, however the crust and filling must be homemade.

The pies are judged based on flavor, filling, crust and overall appearance. You do not have to preregister to be in the contest.

A silent auction will follow the contest to benefit the new archer exhibit building construction. It's the Ag Heritage Museum and Animal Educational Facility at the Archer Complex. Bids for silent auction items will close Friday, August 10 at 1:00pm. Winning items can be picked up at the Exhibit Hall.

For information on workshops that will take place this year at the fair check out the interview from the morning show.
