Showers and Storms Continue Tonight, Rest of the Week, Another Heat Wave on the Way
Good evening! The first wave of showers and storms have moved across SE Wyoming and will continue across the NE Panhandle through the late evening hours. Another surge of moisture will move in from the southwest late tonight which will allow for showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder to remain possible through 3-4am. Skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy, with lows in the 50s and 60s.
Tomorrow, we will have the threat for isolated showers and storms during the afternoon and evening hours. No severe weather is expected but can't rule out a strong storm with gusty winds and small hail. Highs will be in the 80s, 90s, and possibly some 100s across the NE Panhandle. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. Tomorrow night, showers and storms will end by 10pm, with lows in the 50s and 60s under partly cloudy skies.
For the rest of the workweek, afternoon showers and storms will be possible with highs in the 80s and 90s, and lows in the 50s and 60s. Next week, another ridge of high pressure will move in, allowing for temperatures to reach the 90s and 100s area wide.
Have a great night!
