Senator John Barrasso shares thoughts on impeachment hearings

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -- Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) was in Wyoming for Veterans Day. While at a ceremony in Cheyenne, he took the time to answer a question on the impeachment hearings. The first round of public hearings began on November 12, 2019.

Senator Barrasso said his fear is that the hearings are preventing other things from getting done in Washington. "Roads and bridges, highway infrastructure, funding for the military, pay raises for the troops, trade..." said Senator Barrasso, "...So many things. Lowering the cost of prescription drugs. Those are all being blocked because of the Democrats are so obsessed with impeaching the president in a completely partisan way and they've been against him from day one. This has been ongoing since the day he took office."
