Roosevelt High school celebrated its biggest class yet— 71 graduates.

This ceremony was different than it’s been in the past. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, health officials wanted graduation ceremonies to be held outside and a drive-in ceremony in the Casper Events Center parking lot was the compromise.

Shawna Trujillo, Roosevelt High School principal, said she’s grateful to endure all of the recent challenges with the class of 2020.

Sarita Robles, a Roosevelt graduate, said she’s proud of her accomplishments like graduating early.

She added she’s grateful her friends that didn’t think they would make it got to graduate too.
