CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -- RePeak Outdoor & Sports is a new business that is supposed to officially open in Cheyenne on March 1, 2020.

On Saturday, February 1, 2020, the store owner will be collecting pre-owned outdoor and sporting equipment. RePeak will be selling pre-owned equipment when it opens in a month. The store's owner, Breck Collier, said that the net income from the store will go back to youth programs in town.

For Collier, he said he wants to be a part of helping families and friends get outside. He doesn't think that there's a store like this in Cheyenne and is excited to get to open it downtown.

A donation of outdoor or sports gear will get participants a free Yoga session with Muriah Kilmer from Freedoms Edge starting at 11:00 Saturday. You could also get a free drink with Chronicles Distilling or a free pint of Accomplice beer with Rib & Chop House instead of yoga. In the afternoon Cheyenne Animal Shelter will be doing a pet adoption event.

Collier said he hopes this opportunity will help kids in Cheyenne see all that the city offers. "Some of our youth are looking to move out of Cheyenne," Collier said. "Just developing into a mindset that this could be a community that they can stay in, live in and grow in for years to come."
