CHEYENNE, Wyo - We sat down with a pancake breakfast volunteer to talk about what it takes to put on this event.
When thinking about the next year's Pancake Breakfast planning starts right after the Friday breakfast, but doesn't typically come together until two weeks before.
Just in the serving line alone there are 70 volunteers to get the lines moving smoothly.
Last year the Kiwanis club and Cheyenne Frontier Days served up about 25,000 pancakes.
Although, the breakfast look like it's just fun this is a civil defense prep to make sure, if anything were to happen, Kiwanis could feed a large group.
