Pop-up Showers/Storms Tomorrow, Numerous Showers/Storms Tuesday, Next Weekend Looking Dry
Good evening! Looking at a mainly dry evening for the area, with only a 10% chance of an isolated shower or storm through 10pm. Overnight tonight, skies will remain partly cloudy to mostly clear with lows in the 50s and 60s. Winds will be out of the south around 6-12mph. Tomorrow, just another typical day for the area with afternoon and evening pop-up showers and storms. SE Wyoming will have the better chances of seeing those pop-up storms (20%), with the NE Panhandle with a slightly lower chance (10%). Highs will be in the 80s, 90s, and 100s for the area. Tomorrow night, showers and storms come to an end by midnight with skies remaining partly to mostly clear with lows in the 50s and 60s.
On Tuesday, we will see a decent chance for showers and storms (50%). More monsoonal moisture will stream into the area and with an upper level disturbance moving through providing lifting motion in the atmosphere, expect numerous showers and storms to develop during the afternoon and evening. Main threats with the showers and storms will be heavy rainfall due to the higher moisture content. Highs will be in the 80s and 90s. Tuesday night, showers and storms will continue through the early overnight hours (1-2am) before moving out. Lows will be in the 50s and 60s.
For Wednesday through Friday, expect isolated to scattered showers and storms each afternoon and evening to be possible with highs in the 70s and 80s on Wednesday, then 80s and 90s Thursday and Friday.
For next weekend, a ridge of high pressure will build into the region, which means dry conditions and warm-hot temps.
Have a great night!
