All clear given after police investigate bomb threat at Casper school

CASPER, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) UPDATE: 1:53pm
The all clear has been given and students/staff are now allowed back inside the schools.

The Casper Police Department is investigating a bomb threat at Dean Morgan Junior High School.

Casper PD has the individual who initiated the threat in custody.

According to a release sent to Wyoming News Now by the Casper Police department and NCSD protocols are being followed.

Students are being evacuated.

Casper PD is conducting a search of the facility, to make sure students and faculty will be safe to return.

Authorities are asking residents to not try and access the school grounds for security reasons.

Parents/guardians of students have been notified.
