CHEYENNE, Wyo - Peak Wellness stopped by the studio this morning to talk about the brand new fundraising initiative-program as well as the inaugural Candy Crawl.

The new program is called Friends of Peak and it's designed to really engage the community in Peak's mission to get people on board as advocates and ambassadors for Peak. This is also a way to encourage people to support Peak financially in a tangible and fun way.

With the first year of any program or business there are always goals you set for yourself, that is no different than what Peak has done. Peak has set a goal to reach $125,000 that can be used to expand, grow, and diversify Peak's programs and spaces. Peak is actually actively seeking donors and donations you can get in contact with Shelby Perea if you're interested.

Peak will also be hosting a Candy Crawl and Resource Fair this year, it will be fun for the whole family. The event is fall-themed with tons of candy, 600-pounds to be exact, a bounce house, games, a face painter and awesome raffle giveaways.

This will also be an educational element with more than 30 nonprofit organizations from Laramie County joining Peak to share information about free and low-cost programs, services and resources that they provide to individuals and families in this community!

The event is completely free it is Saturday October 28 beginning at noon and will end at 3:00 pm. It will be at Peak's Churchill Parking lot, if there is bad weather the location will be changed.
