CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) -- Patrick Graham is riding 1,600 miles to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association Wyoming Chapter. He originally thought that it would be 1,300 miles. He and the executive director of the Alzheimer's Association Wyoming Chapter, Janet Lewis, spoke with Wyoming News Now before Patrick heads out on his journey.

Mr. Graham will be leaving for Astoria, Oregon later in May. He is planning to be back in Cheyenne by June 14, 2020. He said with the pandemic, he is having to make some adjustments and is a little concerned about where he will stay during the trip and how easily accessible things will be on his journey.

The Alzheimer's Association Wyoming Chapter serves 10,000 people with Alzheimer's and other dementia, as well as their 28,000 caregivers. With those numbers, they are hoping to raise $38,000.
