When state parks open up to camping May 15 out of state campers won't be able to join in on the fun.

Wyoming State Parks says all camping will require a reservation and will only be available to residents. All out of state reservations for campsites have been canceled. Only single unit campsites will be available with up to 10 people allowed per site. State park officials say that while out of state campers have been turned away they are not stopping *day* visitors from other states.

"We hope that people are again following the guidelines with governor set practicing social distancing when they get here” said Deputy director of state Parks Nick Neylon, “But we are not prohibiting them from coming to the parks."

Nick says social distancing will be "gently" enforced by park staff. For more information on the new camping rules, head to the state parks
