Brewista, a Cheyenne based start-up company developed a new nut processing machine that makes nut milk in under twelve minutes.

Using any kind of nut or seed, the NutraMilk system can produce butter or two liters of milk.

The center for disease control reports that 20-50 million Americans are lactose intolerant.

Engineers at Brewista saw that there is an incredible need for a better way to make nut milk.

The standard way of making nut milk at home is to soak the nuts over night, drain them, rinse them, and then put them through a blender with fresh water for at least an hour.

With the NutraMilk system you just add nuts to the machine and push a button. A few minutes later add water, and push another button-twelve minutes later you have nut milk.

The machine is the first of it's kind and has created a completely new category for kitchen electrics called nut processors.

Engineers at Brewista say that making fresh nut milk at home is a healthy alternative to store bought nut milk because there are no additives or preservatives.

Brewista has been in Cheyenne since 2014, they plan to start shipping the nut processor world wide in October.
