CHEYENNE, Wyo The new municipal building which is being built over the former blighted building on 17th Carey St.
Is making good progress ahead of it's expected completion and opening this Fall.
This week, the construction work consists of putting up the brick exterior walls and putting together the interior materials.
Construction of the building has been smooth sailing thus far. Director of City Public Works Vicki Nemecek is pleased with the work that has been done so far.
She is also excited to be able to bring this building to the people of Cheyenne as a breath of fresh air for the once blighted building will now be a building that holds purpose and stand for decades to come.
As it stands now, the building is on track to being completed by this fall. There has been hardly any delays and the construction has gone quite smoothly during this process.
