Natrona county library holds food for fines drive
The Natrona county library will forgive library fines if community members bring in non perishable items. This drive will go on until Dec 15. The food will go to Joshua’s Store House.
Library employees say there were around three thousand items donated last time they had the drive. There were four thousand dollars in fines excused.
Marketing managers say they do this drive twice a year and are grateful for all of the donations that come in.
“We don’t have a hard and fast rule, like, one can equals fifty cents or anything like that. It’s whatever you feel like giving,” said Megan Bratton, Natrona County library marketing manager.
