CASPER, Wyo. (RELEASE) - At 12:09 am Thursday morning, November 21st, the Natrona County Fire District was dispatched to the report of a structure fire off of HWY 220, for a shop that was on fire.

NCFD firefighters responded to the scene as quickly and safely as the icy roads would allow. NCFD received assistance from Casper Fire-EMS, Wyoming Medical Center, Natrona County Sheriffs Office and Bar Nunn Fire Department for this incident.

Fire units arrived on scene to find the shop fully involved with fire showing from the exterior. A report of vehicles, fuel and other miscellaneous items were inside the shop at the time of the fire.

Firefighters were able to engage and contain the fire to just the shop. With limited water sources, freezing temperatures and limited manpower, firefighters were able to put the fire out in the matter of a few hours. The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.

Natrona County Fire District would like to thank our agency partners who assisted with this incident.
