NCSD Transportation announces alternate bus stops for winter weather

Throughout the day, NCSD Transportation has been working closely with the City of Casper and other county officials to identify any potential transportation delays the blowing snow and inclement weather could present to evening bus transportation. We are working diligently to get all students to and from school safely and with as minimal disruption as possible to the regularly scheduled route times.

In efforts to reduce potential delays, Middle-Level Bus Riders only will be released from school today, December 2nd, approx. 15 mins early in order to build in a buffer of time and alleviate delays for all routes as much as possible. (This is only for Bus Riders, all other students will be released at normally scheduled times.)


The following route modifications have been made and will be in effect until further notice, including tomorrow morning (Dec 3).

NCSD Transportation is asking parents/guardians to please pick-up or meet your child(ren) at the below listed alternate stops. If this presents a hardship, please contact NCSD Transportation at the number listed below.

South of Outer Drive (Example Goodstein Drive, South Poplar, Garden Creek, Circle Drive, etc.): Alternate stop will be Sunrise Shopping Center - North End.

River West Subdivision: Alternate stop for Whispering Springs stop will be Oregon Trail Elementary

Dempsey Acres: Alternate stop will be Chamberlin and Fulton

Lazy 8: Alternate stop Intersection of HWY 20-26 Grady and Spears

Red Butte: Alternate stop Monument turn off by mailboxes HWY 220
